I solve the cube then give it to one of my children to "mess up." They love scrambling the cube, except a couple weeks ago my 4 year old also took off a yellow sticker :( I was pretty upset and when date night came around and my husband and I went to the movies I couldn't help I am a stay at home mother of 5 children so "brain breaks" are necessary. I have recently taken up the Rubik's cube as a hobby and have learned to master solving the cube and now I'm working on improving my time. He is quite fascinated with it and has it with him most all the time. This gift was purchased for an autistic teenager. the new plastic color peices instead of the stickers I had when I was young is a vast improvement. He's obviously not playing with it the way it was intended but he does twist it and look at it. I bought it for my 2 year old to play with in church. Slow introduction so he won't get frustrated, but great for challenging his mind in a different way, and he is taking to it without getting upset.
